60's styled illustration based on the likeness of Yukiko Kobayashi - an actress from the 1968 Godzilla film 'Destroy all monsters'
I really wanted to push the illustrative look, and make it simple, yet expressive.

Work in progress images are on my Facebook page:

Sorry - no new pic with this post im afraid!
However, im quite excited to announce that 2 pieces of my work are featured on ShouldBee! They create figures and toys based on submitted artwork. If my designs are voted highly they will be chosen and a production run of toys / figures will be made.
If you want to see nicely made figures of 'One lump or two' or 'Vicki's vengeance' made from 3D printed model data, please sign up and vote for them! Those two images were made with toys in mind, so i'd love to see them made real!

I still have some Trixie figures left (not many though!), so if you want her smiling at you on your desk, use the order button on the right of my blog here.

A character pitch i did way back in 2007 when i was working full time at The Character Shop.
I love the design i had to work from, and its probably the best celshader work ive ever done. I used Finaltoon for the shading.
